The Beach House

  • Fireplace operating Instructions 

    Firelighters: Stored above fridge. Ensure there are no flammable objects within 1 meter of fireplace & upstairs flue.

    Lighting only: Fully open the air slot under glass door (this allows air to enter the fire place and feed oxygen to the fire during initial lighting only)

    Continuous Burning: Ensure air vent is set to half way for continuous burning. (too much air is dangerous and may cause overheating)

    Shut down fire: Close vent off completely.

    Please do not clean fireplace or dispose of hot ashes. Keep children away from the fire place and flue it will reach high temperatures and always operate with door closed.

    Fire extinguisher: Under kitchen sink

    Additional firewood: Garden shed

  • Enjoy a selection of Mayde organic herbal teas, chosen to match your mood.

    Freshly ground organic coffee is provided, best enjoyed using the traditional coffee press for a slower morning ritual.

    For ease, compostable coffee pods are also available for the automatic coffee machine and can be placed in the green bin after use.

  • We’re proud to offer Rasasara Ayurvedic shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand wash for you to enjoy during your stay.

    Hair dryers are tucked into the drawers of each bathroom for your ease.

  • All bed linen and bath towels are provided for your stay.

    For days spent by the sea, we recommend bringing your own beach towels.

  • Indoor & outdoor ceiling speakers:

    Turn on bluetooth on personal device, under “discover”, Select “RX-4508” and join.

    Interior: On amplifier remote select: Speakers A

    Outdoors: On amplifier remote control select: Speakers B (Please ensure external speakers are off/low after 10pm)

    For both indoor and outdoor at the same time select AB.

  • Our bins are tucked behind the timber fence on the nature strip, where you’ll find options for general waste, recycling and green waste.


    We appreciate all household waste being placed in the appropriate bin.
